Hello, I'm having an issue where the game launches, but whenever I select a character to start playing it just gets stuck on the red "loading screen." The music starts playing and all the sounds are there (the character responds to me pressing W, for instance), but it just stays stuck on that loading screen.
I'm using Whiskey (ver 2.3.4 (42)) to play the game on my mac (Apple M2, OS Sequoia 15.4.1). Just wondering if there's any potential fix for this problem? Thanks!
Hey nidio, ty for the response but no need to worry about this anymore. Apparently whisky isn't being maintained anymore so I just went ahead with a different emulator (Crossover) and the game appears to be working fine!
Hi, All! Just to clarify: This is not the same game as the one on Steam. They are from the same creators but two completely separate games.
1. I am sorry I might have given you wrong info about our next character coming live by the 3rd week of May. Instead, next character will be out by June. I just spoke to our Rockstar Animator, Mayorto. It takes about four months to develop each character.
2. For sharing and connecting with some of the friendliest and the most enthusiastic gamers, go to our: DISCORD/GROUP.
Just tried out the game and it was pretty cool. my only problem was how slow the character was when it comes to attack intervals and response to certain enemies including how the enemies and traps are placed along the stages. For example, traps in the hallway stage can be annoying especially when they're placed close together, like when you come across a trap door on the floor you think all you have to do is to jump over it, but this is not the case because there is vent right after it that will catch you after you get passed the previous trap. The other problem is how slow the character is, when you're in the process of jumping/sliding to avoid traps you already have zombies coming at you ("especially the fast moving zombies.") that will instantly grab you in the middle of these animation sequences. I've tried baiting them but that sometimes doesn't work so I had no choice but to take the L in order to proceed forward through the stages. So far those are my current problem with the game, I am excited to see where this game will go from here on out and shout to the dev(s) who are/is hard at work developing this game.

Hey, ukie1717! The game on Steam is a complete different game, completely disassociated from the Adultefzu here on Itchio. It's the same creator though.
How would I fix the game starting in the wrong resolution? When I start it, its zoomed in on the top left corner. At first it would have the top right portion on my other monitor but its stopped doing that. Unfortunately, the setting is in the bottom right and the close for the opening pop up at the menu is also inaccessible. Is there a file in the folder that has the settings?
In a future update, can you please add an option to turn off the music for both the gameplay and the endings, if possible? Would like to keep the sound and voices on, but the music gets a little repetitive.
Also, It was hard for me to tell the difference between casual and normal difficulties.
I think he's asking for a gore toggle for more realistic interpretations of zombies.
Though, the setting of the game seems to insulate that it was more of a mutation that made the students into sex-crazed, immortal, abominations and not just brain hungry, flesh consuming zombies.
You know what I recommend? Add community posts everytime the game has a new version, since that's what a lot of H game devs do. (If you can of course.)
Is this the same game from steam? It looks a lot like it in style and characters, but the demo I played there is very different, with the teacher tossing chalk on the zombies. So, is there 2 games of Escape Zombie U?
I ask because on Steam there is only the Escape from Zombie U Reloaded and on Itch.io there is only the Adult Escape from Zombie U. Is it like a SFW version and a NSFW version of the same game?
really need to add checkpoints or floor unlocks once you clear it. had a bug happen where i did a roll past an enemy then attacked one the one behind me teleported infront of me as if he was hit then i think he tried to initiate a grab and it crashed the game. lost all my progress and now have to start from the beginning. very frustrating!

Hey. Just completed the game and I'm running into some real lag issues. The ending animations won't play properly. They'll start and play for a bit then stutter and freeze. Am I the only one having this problem

Actually it sounds like he's asking for a version that's less gory ("mildly gore"), for people who aren't good/comfortable with gore ("bad at gore").
